Inspection Capture source points

Surface areas, openings and ceiling steps

Open saved spatial evidence. Select the physical boundary points in perimeter order, then add a wall, floor, ceiling or panel. Assign openings to their host surface. Quantities recalculate from those source points; overlapping cutouts are deducted once.

Source evidence not loaded.

Camera estimates and selected boundaries require physical checks. This workflow does not automatically classify sockets or windows, establish finished faces, or guarantee millimetre accuracy.

Choose ordered source points

No points selected.

Assign the selected boundary

A floor doorway gap needs two endpoints on one floor edge. Windows are not skirting gaps. Fixture faces are listed separately and do not imply wall holes.

Select footprint points on the original ceiling plane. Drop values are design inputs; they are not measured as-built heights. Horizontal boards and vertical fascia are calculated separately.

Calculated review

Areas are geometric m². Skirting Rft uses 1 foot = 0.3048 m. Reveal/return areas, material deduction rules, waste and BOM specifications need separate inputs. Cove lengths show exposed step candidates, not an installed lighting specification.

DXF/OBJ contain residual surface faces and designed fascia in metres. They are not solid BIM, fabrication approval or a complete professional drawing set.
